Dana and Lauren are proud to announce the release of their new self-titled 4 song EP, “Dana and Lauren.” The new record features an exciting mix of Country, Bluegrass and Americana that Napster.com called "Bluegrass-tastic!"
The EP features a dynamic bluegrass cover of 2Pac and Dr. Dre's hip hop classic "California Love." The rest of album consists of all original tracks including the driving and addictive country tune “Chasing Trains” (co-written by Lauren) that is sure to have you humming along and stomping your feet. The Dana penned “Song To My Heart”, is a cheerful, smile inducing and irresistible upbeat love song. The dreamy, lullaby-like “Dreams Are Fireflies” perfectly captures a sense of yearning, with lush and gorgeously layered harmonies.
The album is produced by Ethan Allen (The upcoming Waylon Jennings Tribute with Dierks Bently, Trace Adkins, Sheryl Crow).
Along with Dana and Lauren’s banjo and fiddle, the album features the amazing musicianship of Josh Moreau on bass (Katy Perry, Hoobastank), Chase Duddy (Ryan Cabrera) on drums, Ethan Kaufman (Ryan Cabrera) on guitar.
